About the Role:
Holway Early Childhood Centers is currently seeking full-time teachers. All teachers report to the Executive Director and Associate Director of the centers. Teachers will be working in a team-teaching environment with two co-teachers. Additional assistance within the classroom offered by Lasell University teacher assistants and work-study students. Our teaching philosophy focuses on Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field. MA Department of Early Education and Care teacher certification required. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with others. Computer skills (MS Word and Outlook) Reliable and conscientious Certified in CPR and first aid training. Attentive to confidentiality of records and other information. Willingness to increase knowledge in the field through professional development. Classroom teachers must be able to lift 40lbs. At least 2 years’ experience working in an early childhood education setting.
