Creating equitable learning opportunities is at the core of NAEYC's mission and will be the focus of our Western Massachusetts conference. As put forth in NAEYC's "Advancing Equity in Early Childhood" position statement, addressing structural inequities "requires attention to both interpersonal dynamic-the day-to-day relationships and interactions at the core of early childhood education practice-and systematic influences the uneven distribution of power and privilege inherent in public and private systems nationwide, including in early childhood education."

 

MAAEYC is excited to be hosting the first ever Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Panel Discussion! The following distinguished panelists will participate in this discussion: Qinyi (Isabelle) Ren, Gregg Millien, & Rosemary Hernandez.
