About the Role:
Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Director I or II Certification Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Literacy, Special Education, or related field Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Teacher License in Early Childhood Education, or the ability to secure DESE licensure Experience teaching in an inclusive setting in the public-school system, private school, or nonprofit organization Experience teaching in a multilingual educational setting At least five years of preschool lead teaching experience in an inclusive setting At least three years of preschool director experience A demonstrated record of collaboration with a variety of formal and informal preschool consortia and organizations.
Requirements:
The Director of the Centers for Early Childhood Education (CECE) is responsible for the administration and management of the CECE and plans, supervises, and assesses personnel, curricula, and activities of our two preschool classrooms: the Jeanne M. Canelli Child Development Lab (CDL) and Early Childhood Center (ECC) at Framingham State University.
