Week One: Introduction and General Child Development
Week Two: Observations, Documentation, and Assessment
Week Three: Understanding the Impacts of Culture
Week Four: Understanding and Working with Families
Week Five: Physical Development and Nutrition
Week Six: Social/Emotional Development
Week Seven: Cognitive Development
Week Eight: Language and Literacy
Each week you will have articles to read, activities to complete, and reflections to make. An infant/toddler specialist will review your submitted homework, make suggestions, and act as a resource and facilitator.
In order to register for this course, YOU MUST:
• Have successfully completed 2 college courses
• Have access to a computer and the internet ( i.e. have an email address)
• Have the ability to observe and interact with infants and/or toddlers in a child care setting
The course will cost $225 for members of NAEYC and $275 for non-members

MAAEYC offers Part I 3 times a year (usually February, June, and September). Part II will be offered on as needed basis. Each part is approved for 4 CEUs.
