A Caring Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos.


When: We're hoping to run the class again in January 2021. Sign up for our emails to get news on the dates when they are decided.


Where: Online! This is a distance learning format. Each week you will have articles to read, activities to complete, and reflections to make.  An infant/toddler specialist will review your submitted homework, make suggestions, and act as a resource and facilitator. There are no scheduled times that this class meets online or in person.

Week One: Introduction and General Child Development
Week Two: Observations, Documentation, and Assessment
Week Three: Culture and Family 
Week Four: Creating Parent Partnerships

Module Two:

Week Five:  Physical Development and Nutrition
Week Six: Social/Emotional Development
Week Seven: Cognitive Development
Week Eight: Language and Literacy


In order to register for this course, YOU MUST:
• Have successfully completed 2 college courses
• Have access to a computer, internet and have an email address
• Have the ability to observe and interact with infants and/or toddlers in a child care setting
